Our Mission

is to support children with disabilites and their families so individuals can become independent in their environment.

Carolyn Donovan

has over 15 years of experience working with people with disabilities.  While attending high school in New Jersey, Carolyn volunteered on campus at a school for schildren with exceptional needs.  From there, Carolyn continued volunteering and working with children and youths with disabilities, particularly Autism.  She attended the Univseristy of Maryland at College Park as a special education major, then continued her education there, earning a Master's of Education in Severe Disabilities and Autism.

Carolyn taught as a special education classroom teacher, working with both elementary and preschool-aged chidlren.  She loved teaching in a classroom setting, but her passion was always the in-home Applied Behavior Analysis programs she worked in during her college days.  Carolyn was eager to get back to working primarily with families.

Providing ABA services has always shown Carolyn the impact that research-based interventions can have on children and families.  She thrives on the successes of the families with whom she works and enjoys seeing the far-reaching implications of their work together.

When she's not working with families, Carolyn is usually doing her best to take her own advice and wrangle her toddler into her the car seat!
