AT DONOKIDS,

We believe

that every child can learn; it is the responsibility of the adults around them to determine how they need to be taught.

We support

children with a range of developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and behavior disorders in academic, social, communication, and adaptive behavior areas.  We will work with families, schools, and other service providers to ensure wrap around treatment that is individualized to the needs of each learner, meeting them at their level.

We provide
research-based interventions and data-based decisions with an emphasis on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Have you tried this?

When your child is eating snack, do you give them a full portion or do you give small amounts of food to encourage more requests?  By withholding a desired item, you can create a situation where your child is motivate to make requests, or mand.  Given a small bite of food, then provide a model of how they should ask for the next bite.
